I thought about saving this draft in my Notes app forever, but I’m trying to be better about sharing the messier thoughts too. So instead of a neat round-up of things I’ve bought or loved lately, here’s something different: an attempt to put words to the low-level existential dread I’ve been carrying, and the bigger questions it keeps raising. Where do I want to live? What does it mean to shape a life at 38 without kids, when the usual markers of adulthood don’t quite apply? How do community, travel, and creativity fit into the shape of a future I can’t quite picture yet?
